Celebrate Women's Equality Day

The League of Women Voters celebrates the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment on August 26, 1920. The League was founded by women suffragists after the passage of the Amendment. For the last 90 plus years, League members have worked tirelessly as a voice for the citizens and a force for change.
As we commemorate the day that women were granted the right to vote, we shall at the same time honor our elected women officials.
