Join Business & Professional Women of Raleigh, the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce and the Triangle Sports Commission for Super KNOW -- an event celebrating NC women in sports.

Career Woman of the Year
We begin the event with the presentation of the BPW 2012 Career Woman of the Year award. BPW is proud to recognize
Lynn Davis Minges, the Assistant Secretary of Tourism, Marketing, and Global Branding for the N.C. Department of Commerce for distinguishing herself in her career and for being a positive role model for young women. Ms. Minges provides leadership and strategic direction for our state’s tourism, film, sports, and wine industries.

ESPN Style Living Room Chat
Following the award ceremony, four Triangle NCAA Division 1 Universities Women’s Basketball head coaches will sit down for an
“ESPN living room style chat”; showcasing how these women dribbled their way into college sports and their views on how to succeed.

The coaches:

Sylvia Hatchell, UNC-Chapel Hill University
Joanne McCallie, Duke University
Vanessa Taylor, NC Central University
Kellie Harper, NC State University

The discussion will be moderated by Debra Morgan of WRAL-TV.
